Welcome to Junior Curling 2025-2026
All skill levels are welcome!
Junior League (Ages 8-19)
The Lorette Junior Program is a fun community group run by parents and community volunteers.
For our program to run, we will need additional volunteers on the ice this year to help if we want to accept all the families into the program.
If you are able and willing to help on or off the ice, please let me know as soon as possible so I can plan out the program!
For our on-ice volunteers, in the past we brought in a Curl Manitoba instructor for a couple of hours to train the volunteers.
We play Saturday mornings from October to March (minimum16 sessions)
Juniors (8-19) 10:30- 11:30am (must be 8 years old as of June 30 2024)
Cost is $100 registration fee + $20 club fee Total $120
We provide all the necessary equipment to get started( brooms, grippers, sliders). Helmets are encouraged. Curlers and anyone else helping out on the ice (coaches/parent volunteers, etc) are not allowed to be on the ice in the same shoes that they wear to the rink and must bring non-street shoes. Rubber soled shoes are best (running shoes, broomball shoes, etc).

For new members: Follow the instructions on the website under "Our Club- New Member Info"
Print your Registration Receipt and Fill out assumption of risk form and bring to the first session on Saturday - TBD.
ALL Parents or Guardians of the Junior Program must read, agree to, sign and date an assumption of risk form for curling participants under the age of majority.
